Services

Our registered sleep technologists provide a range of services to help you sleep better. The most important way we assist you and your doctor is through a sleep study called a polysomnography.

A sleep study is completely painless and records your brain waves, breathing rate, oxygen levels, heart rate and muscle movements while you sleep. This information sheds light on many disorders that disrupt your sleep - and probably your bed partner's, too - keeping you from feeling your best, such as:

  • Snoring - Habitual snoring can put you at risk for serious health problems
  • Sleep apnea - Not breathing for several seconds at a time throughout the night
  • Insomnia - The inability to fall asleep and/or stay asleep throughout the night
  • Restless legs syndrome or periodic limb movements - kicking/jerking movements in legs that occur uncontrollably off and on during sleep
  • Childhood sleep disorders - Children can suffer from sleep apnea and are also more prone to problems like sleepwalking or night terrors - conditions that are troubling to loved ones and keep children from the rest they need. We perform studies for kids and are happy to give your child special care that makes testing easy for both of you.

We are an accessible and responsive resource physicians can count on. Need assistance with interpreting a report or want your staff to get tips on screening? Give us a call. Our staff will work with you to meet your specific needs so that, together, we can help patients get the better sleep they need to be their best.

As a high-quality, independent sleep lab, we're making it easy for all physicians to get the reliable information they need about their patient's sleep problems. With the REM Center, you'll always have:

  • Quick scheduling for your patient's study-in days, not weeks
  • Fast turnaround of our findings, usually within on week after testing
  • For your patient - we can order CPAPs and other devices and give your patients in-depth education to help them improve their sleep hygiene.
